Everything is always okay when the Dude is around.
We've passed 150 backers in my Kickstarter so the Faces of Kleya will now become a wallpaper. You can see a gif of the creation of that poster here! Thanks everyone! Less than 30 backers for an extra update and less than $400 to fund!!

Gives an idea of the kind of edits I do. The above is what my colorist gave me. I didn't feel like panel 4 had enough emotional punch to it, so I played around and accidentally discovered the fix you see in the final version (this happens a lot). Also, I added more motion to the first panel to give it more punch as well. That's basically the edits I do each time; constantly trying to improve the emotional impact of the panels. And sometimes I succeed!

TWC Stats! The big spikes are when I was #1 (usually at the first of the month). Spots 2 and 3 bring in a good amount. 4-10 are about the same. After 10, referrals drop a lot.

Yes, she changed the phrasing a bit.

I personally really want a wall scroll AND a mug. Anyone with me on that?
The Kickstarter is moving along great! We're so close to funding and we've already unlocked an extra update for Nov 3rd! Another 70 backers and we'll unlock another extra update! Keep spreading the word about it!

Having a strong start is key to building momentum and getting the notice of Kickstarter (who will then advertise the project for free--which would be amazing!). Even if you can't pledge, sharing the campaign to friends, family, and your social network would be a huge boost, especially if they kept sharing to THEIR social network. Kickstarter makes it very easy to share; the sharing buttons are directly under the video. The more people that get to hear of NAV, the better chance the Kickstarter will succeed. And for you to get cool stuff such as:
For every 100 backers, I'll post an extra update on the main site after the Kickstarter has funded!
Plus, we'll reach the cool stretch goals like the heated mugs, wall scrolls, and more T-shirt designs!
Oh, and don't forget you all have access to special rewards. See this post here!
Thanks everyone!
Ramblings – October Hangout: October 15th, 7pm MDT
Let's have another hangout! My Kickstarter is about to launch (you'll get another email when it launches) and I'll be in Alaska for another job, so it's going to be a bit crazy, but it will be crazy awesome!
Let's have a Hangout on Saturday, October 15 at 7pm MDT! If you want, I can show you the process of how to get a book ready for print (I'll be working on that all this month) or you can help me decide on a new wallpaper.
Comment if you can attend!
