He does, but I think there’s more to, Marry looking so upset, then just how fast Dude is running.

As for Dudes Running skills I wonder if its his normal running skills or because he’s so terrified of being near marry when she’s on a rampage, that he’s running faster then normal.

Alex on 07/07/2015 @ 1:33 am

I like how you keep writing that the Dude is afraid of “Marry”. 😀

Reo on 07/07/2015 @ 2:25 am

Maybe he found already a way to convert a part or the energy, he safes due to the low gravity, to increase his speed.

In doubt I would say it is his fear.

James on 07/07/2015 @ 7:24 am

I agree there is more to it, after all… We have seen Kleya,Danni, and Dude all running away… What we haven’t seen is bandit. I sense Mary is about to get bushwhacked.

Rowen Morland on 07/08/2015 @ 12:39 am

Yeah, I’m thinking Bandit, blindfolded.

FluffyLady on 07/08/2015 @ 12:17 pm

Remember how emotions have an actual influence in the game? Perhaps the emotion “fear” gives players extra speed, like how “anger” gives them strength?

Caryn on 07/07/2015 @ 12:32 am

Uh oh, someone’s mad, and it looks like Bandit is the only punching bag available now…

eldestdawn on 07/07/2015 @ 12:56 am

I’m guessing bandit is still in the area and she is going to try to pick a fight with him (which would be fun to watch).

Anderson on 07/07/2015 @ 12:56 am

Oh this is interesting. For a high-level Erbana, Kat needs to keep everyone alive within a certain distance. Jane needs to kill pretty much everyone around her….and Bandit has to blow stuff up.

Everyone *except* Bandit and Jane have now escaped…..which likely means a fight between those two, or Jane settles for a lower rank in Morto. But if Kat’s far enough away she could *in theory* just leave them to see who wins.

Archon on 07/07/2015 @ 1:15 am

When did Brandon get the speedforce?

Nikary on 07/07/2015 @ 1:35 am

Funny how Dude would rather stick with Kat instead of running in a third direction to avoid them both 😀

But hey, looks like Jane’s gonna go after Bandit now…

Alex on 07/07/2015 @ 1:38 am

Ok, so is she turning towards Bandit now, because she’s unable to catch up with a limping Danni? Note that Bandit has a Special that increases his speed. 🙂

Does she really think she can take down the (arguably) second best programmer besides Kat, the only one besides her who scored 100%, who in contrast to her is not playing Nice?

Alexander The 1st on 07/07/2015 @ 1:54 am

So I’m curious to know just how malleable the alignment system is.

Like, we know that Kat at her high Erbana state has to prevent anyone within a nearby range from dying, but Mary just let 3 members of the party get away – does that effect her Mani rating? Or is Mary’s 69% Morto still relatively stable so far, and the gains/losses are proportional to how effective they’d be?

kit ramos on 07/08/2015 @ 10:01 pm

Now there’s a good question

Joshua503 on 07/07/2015 @ 2:21 am

Tricky, tricky, what is really there. . .
Can Reaper Jane trust her eyes? Or did that plant have more. . . hallucinogenic effects?

Miafillene on 07/07/2015 @ 2:28 am

Dude is being smart. >.> For once. And is Mary looking at the viewing public there? Maybe she’s got so many issues cause she’s always being watched? O_O

Ooorah on 07/07/2015 @ 5:02 am

She turns back, to look dramatically at… Bandit! The cocky b*stard is standing… smirking. *Dun dun dunnnnn*

Jon on 07/07/2015 @ 5:21 am

Jane will finally get that match that Bandit “bailed” out of in pages 132 and 133.

Zigraphix on 07/07/2015 @ 5:55 am

Looks like Jane is turning around to hash things out with the last remaining team member…. Bandit should be able to hold his own, but I guess they might be attacked by the trees or whatever.

Arkham on 07/07/2015 @ 6:27 am

? “The Dude” ran away. ?
Bravely ran away, away!
When danger reared its ugly head,
Dude bravely turned his tail and fled!
Yes brave “The Dude” turned about,
And gallantly he chickened out!
Bravest of the brave, “The Dude”! 😀 😀

Nikary on 07/07/2015 @ 6:53 am

It’s quite curious that Jane seems to suddenly have stopped and we don’t see the full picture – not the full Jane’s body and not any indication of where Bandit is.
Did he stop Jane from chasing Dude?

Ashley on 07/07/2015 @ 7:07 am

Jane’s expression in panel two: “D***, they’re fast. Awww, I don’t wanna have to run in this dress….”

Marscaleb on 07/07/2015 @ 12:32 pm

Looking for her new target, Jane sees…
The audience? OH NO! EVERYONE, RUN! FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY DON’T READ THE COMIC OR SHE WILL FIND YOU!

Liliet on 07/07/2015 @ 1:55 pm

Ah, so the plant was of paralysis.

And if Jane’s going to try to fight with Bandit, this is gonna be fun. (Also, there’s no way she’s got a chance)

knite on 07/07/2015 @ 5:02 pm

He might be a great runner, but keeping quiet…no so much

davd on 07/10/2015 @ 12:11 am

The important previous pages may be 238 and 239… Bandit is also a target – they fear he might become Kat’s friend, goal is to get rid of other possible “friends” so that Kat is more likely to go to their city rather than a friends city.
