I love how Keiko is constantly trying to do things like a “normal person,” but has no idea what “normal” is.

Aneeka, thanks so much for resuming the comic after such a long and brutal struggle. It’s a good story with good characters, and we’re all waiting in dread and fascination to find out what really happened, and if Kleya comes out okay. And maybe the rest of the world too. 🙂

At least two of Snowman’s team had no esones left before Jane caught (and presumably killed) them. There may be more openings in the Game.

I’m so glad to see that Keiko’s going to be making some progress with Jake.

A tangential thought perhaps but.. re-reading this just now, before hopefully seeing the next update also;

You started this comic quite a while ago. And AI is now happening.
Much discussion about pros and cons of course, and rightly so; the current batch is horribly inefficient on the results vs power ratio, imnsho.
That being said, as a developer, I’ve been trying it out, and following certain methodologies at the coding level, it has gotten to a level of usefulness which cannot be ignored. 6, 8 months ago, it was more buzzwords than functionality.

Thing is, though, you nailed it. AI is exactly like D currently. D is a little wiser. And hopefully less demanding, power-wise.
Current AI is super eager to please and ‘take action in some way’.
