Her last appearance was in book 2? Then she should’ve said “Another book is over?” 🙂

Sigh, I miss our only cheerful female character. But looking at her current situation I don’t think the next time we meet her she’ll be cheerful at all, unless she keeps faking it for the audience or something.

Cheerful? Well, maybe after Kat yelled at her fans for booing her. Before that, to me Mina felt more self-absorbed than anything.

Now Mae feels more cheerful to me. Yes, she’s sad more often, but she’s also paying more attention to everyone and isn’t ignoring the scary situations around her.

I don’t see why self-absorbedness should reduce cheerfulness in any way. On her first concert, she looked very cheerful and on page 4 as well, when she had her entrance.

But I still think she’s forcing it, because of the troubles in real life and maybe because she doesn’t want to drag others down.

I’m disappointed that she’s willing to look for Jane and her family to save them, but isn’t in the process of doing that for Mina (a family that she is much closer to and has known for much longer).
