Absolutely agree. Cute and quite sad.

That is both very pretty and very sad. The last several weeks has brought a lot of dimension to Jane. She is quickly becoming my favorite character. I am really looking forward to more back-story on her.

Her situation is complicated by the difference between murdering people and “killing off” a bunch of virtual characters. From the perspective inside the game, it would be viewed one way (as if the characters themselves were people, rather than virtual entities being controlled by people). There it looks simply treacherous, and either evil or insane.

But stepping back, we are now getting more understanding about what is going on outside the game, and how it affects real people, some of whom are really threatened with death.

I just followed a link to the early pages of the archives.

I reread the entire story. In one sitting.

It is still enjoyable.

Beautiful and mournful.
