I’m with the alt-text, pick a game you’re bad at and stick with it.

Try Go. That game has 19*19 possible first moves (well, most of them are mirrors/reflections of eachother, but still), with 19*19-1 second moves, 19*19-3 third moves, and so on (roughly, capturing groups can add additional possible moves – although they likely won’t be viable).

With Go, it would be excruciatingly difficult to run out of ways to lose. Heck, it’s hard enough just to find out the different ways to win!

RedPine, its not that hard to win against someone who needs to learn how to play. If the Dragon has never play’d Go before then The Dude will always win even if he is playing to lose. That’s the problem I hit in high school as the only person who had even heard of the game.

Even if the opponent is moving basically randomly, you can create situations where large scale captures of your pieces are basically inevitable.

If you’re actually trying to lose.

What if you accidentally don’t lose, though?
