Bandit’s “your” should be “you’re” in “Glad to see you’re safe!” in panel 5.

No problem figuring out who’s thinking what! At least if you’re at all familiar with the characters.

I love Danni shaking Kat in fear/relief! So in-character for her! And Dude is still just quietly hiding behind Bandit.

Now I’m imagining that Kleya was the one to fix Jake’s dialogue. :p

Feeling like the villain because you don’t know how to remember to care about people is…..relatable >.> In my experience, thinking about other people is definitely a skill/habit that takes practice, and is hard to remember to do when you’re panicking/spiraling.

Also, poor Bandit, with the headspace she’s in his smile probably looks creepy and threatening xD

Ghosting the person who’s been traumatized by losing all her outsider partners? Yes, not the greatest move, but you really need to stop thinking of everything in terms of Hero vs Villain, Kat

All of them in the party, except possibly Bandit, are the traumatized victims of the collapse in one way or another. How they try to handle it also differs.

Getting mad or annoyed at someone isn’t being triggered, however, Dude going into his panic attack absolutely IS being triggered.

(I really wish people would stop misusing that term, it really waters down people understanding and responding when someone is actually triggered.)

Kat/Kleya ‘may’ be the biggest basket case here, unless it’s Mary, but the others don’t see it, and don’t realize it.
I forget, was Danni in a coma when the world got flushed?

Not going into my personal disasters, but it’s been a rough year so far, so I think I can kind of sympathize with more than a few.

I still suspect that Kleya didn’t actually cause the apocalypse directly, but rather someone else used her as a convenient backdoor and scapegoat for most of what went wrong. That’s my hypothesis and I’m sticking to it until actual data arised that contradicts it ;P

Dr Pepper Tic Tacs are almost addictive for me. Darn them!

Sounds like things are getting a bit better for Aneeka, and that’s great. Don’t over do it.
Also, If you’re ever in the Eugene/Springfield area of Oregon, feel free to hit me and If nothing interferes, (appointments, etc) I’d be happy to take you to lunch or something. Maybe drag you over to “Books With Pictures” over in the 5th Street Public Market. It’s definitely not Powell’s, but it is local. I kind of couldn’t make it last time you were around.

Not the first time Danni thought Kleya died, so no wonder she’s hoping it’ll be the last.

I like how Klaya has a very binary thinking, like you are either a “hero” or a “villain”, “just being a decent person that try their best” is not even on her radar.
I look forward to see how this meeting will go 🙂

I sense a moral lesson here. Something like “You don’t have to be perfect to be a hero. You just have to keep trying.”

I think the complicating factor of that moral lesson tho is when you have incredible power. If you have the power to cause major damage to entire countries, suddenly “try not to mess up” gets a whole lot more serious >.>

Can’t get mad? You truly underestimate her power.

Man, both Bandit and Klaya need to find a way to sit down and just have a good, honest talk.

But, you know, very unlikely to happen. Because damn, this is a tough situation for them both.

I have the same kinds of thoughts and struggles, Kat. (And Bandit.)

Oh, Kat – trying SO SO SO SO hard… and being so very, VERY bad at all that “interpersonal” stuff.

And bandit isn’t just a lot better…

As funny as it would be for her to just sperg out and leave again in the next page, I really hope Kat at least stays and interacts with everyone

I was digging through some boxes from when I moved house and I found my NavComic books! Super happy to find them! Moving is so stressful… even when you leave a completely empty house, things still seem to go missing.
