Multiple concurrent bad days incoming!

Jane’s not having a good time.

I mean, she might be having a *really* good day, depending on how much she cares about her popularity.

Although if the cameras are still off, that wouldn’t help here yet, as I understand.

Maybe the next day will be really good, if she gets to take them on when she gets back on.

I have no idea who’s side Jane is on at this point

I wonder – did she insist they log out because she wanted them safe while she dealt with the group? Or just because she discovered the team?

I’m thinking so that their bots will run… or maybe alignment penalties/changes won’t kick in?

If they stick close to her while online, then maybe her actions count as either group actions, but either logging off or moving out of whisper distance removes that.

Bloody Mary waited until the rest of her party logged out before slaughtering them.

Ah, fair point – I had forgotten that, but as I recall, there were extenuating circumstances:

– They had voted her to be kicked out of the group at that point;

– She was also in direct line of sight of her party.

Here, she encountered a *different* team.

Jane is on Jane’s side, always and forever.

Honestly I’ve completely forgotten why Jane went haywire after so long of a hiatus. Need a summary blurb or to reread the comic ?

Jane and this group are apparently all working with Sandra. I think Jane watched the Snowman group come through the portal at the center of this cave.

To be fair, it hasn’t been fully explained yet in the comic, but lots of hints have been dropped.

Just guessing, Jane and Sandra want the “TENka pets” – aka Bandit and Dude – off the team, presumably so they can be replaced with more players from Sandra’s ‘faction’.

The ‘daring plan’ probably involves Jane’s new 100%-TENka-Free team going to one of the forbidden islands – with the party buffed with several hundred esones – to ‘beat the game’ causing it to shut down, so that the resources currently spent maintaining it can instead be spent on pulling society back from the brink.

Sandra has Jane’s kids. It’s unclear if they have been rescued or are hostages. Jane doesn’t seem particularly hostile to Sandra, so I’m leaning toward ‘rescued’, but it could still be either way.

Can’t wait for Keiko to return to LiFe!

wait, aren’t they at risk of being attacked when logged out? or only from auto generated random encounters?
I remember last time, they had someone on watch.
and also, I remember “Jane” killing her last team, while they were logged out.

I look forward to the next comic, to see if they actually follow directions, or what will happen 🙂

First of all: Congratulations on your marriage!

Estimating from your radio silence this looks like you got married within about 6 months of getting to know each other, which is on the quicker side of things, but I expect that you both know that already and if you both feel that it’s the right thing to do anyway then I believe you will have a happy life together!

Are you going to introduce him/her to us with a special intermission comic page at some point? 🙂

Regarding the comic’s plot:
I wonder why Jane wants for them to log out. I mean, this isn’t like one of our online games where characters just disappear while logged out. Instead they will be defenseless like Jane’s old party that she TPK’d. And if Snowman’s group is in league with Sandra as well, just like Jane, then they’re all gonna go after Bandit, right?

I vaguely remember an old page where Jane is seen with a bunch of Esones glowing on her body but I can’t find it right now. I’ll do an archive dive in the coming days, these past scenes were awesome, especially Danni “using the Dude’s Special”. XD I just love it when a usually clumsy character uses their own way of thinking to help out in a surprising manner.

Jane is about to commit a crime, but i am not quite sure which one yet.

I wonder if Jane telling them to log out is her actually trying to make sure that they stay on alert to be ready for Snowman’s group.

On the last page a villain said “Sandra will be livid!” Is Sandra two timing them?
