wow, I guess even being in a post-apocalyptic world and having to support family isn’t enough to stop entitled people from existing. (I just thought she was a little rude until the past 2 pages)

I don’t think it’s entitled so much as STARVED for conversation and social interaction. Keep in mind L.I.F.E is her only source of people to talk to outside of her family, and as an “outsider”, she tends to be socially shunned.

Once an hour for messages to someone you KNOW is always online is pretty generous.

Kin, you’re right….but you’re wrong. We have an extreme extrovert sending messages to an extreme introvert.

Yes, the extrovert is limiting herself. But that’s like saying “I’m doing much better now. Instead of forcing my friend to carry 400 lbs, I’m only forcing my friend to carry 200 lbs.” Conversations are often exhausting and burdening to introverts.

Instead of dumping all her extrovert needs onto Kleya, she really should be out making more friends instead.

One per hour is a fine rule as long as there are only a couple of hours in a day.

When there are 24, it’s not so fine.

I have to agree. By constantly messaging someone you’re implicitly requiring them to constantly have time for you. For me it creates that feeling of “permanent availability”, which is about the last thing I need in my private life. Modern communication media have made this way too common…

Here’s hoping the next three pages are just close-ups of people wondering where Kat is. Or did I say that backwards?
