I think that Kim’s head in panel 5 is a little bit too big. Which is a contrast to her having deflated her anger.

So, we will finally learn what Tenkas/Dr. Graces big plan is.

I think Bandit’s offer to stall is a bit o’ reverse psychology. He wants her to send him on, so he doesn’t have to listen to her any more. 🙂

I was perusing old pages and just now realised that the element of Tenka that wants RL Kleya dead is her father, who is in a stasis that requires being ‘woken up’ that is presumably not the Game because the island is AI only now. On the otherhand Grace wants her help if possible despite animosity for lost family members to get rid of the virus, as does Bandit although he probably just wants answers. Kim is probably on the Father’s side because the mom was her best friend but could be distracted by answers although unlikely to be swayed.

Nope – the father is dead. The AI playing his game character is annoyingly still ‘alive’. Hmm…. does Kat have an AI game avatar in the game too? (It would probably be even harder to kill)

I don’t recall anything offically establishing the father as dead.. presumed dead yes but nothing offical

I’m not sure that her father wants her dead. We *know* that Kim does. And that Bandit/Jake doesn’t. (IMO he’s still in love with her.) Dr. Grace has other plans that probably have something to do with taking over Tenka.

Think that that fits perfectly. D knows Jake. If anyone else had killed Kat, it would have gone berserk. But instead “it didn’t know what to do anymore.” I’m not sure what Jake’s reaction means – maybe he’s afraid that D’s behavior might give him away. Unless he doesn’t realize that D *is* the virus, which I doubt.
