He’s keeping all of Jake’s secrets, though.

Careful, don’t underestimate him. He’s highly intelligent, he just plays the role of the fool. It ,makes people disregard him and underestimate him. It also makes it easier to learn information easier. If someone thinks your an idiot and won’t understand anyway, their more likely to let their guard down and accidentally let slip important information.

Brandon is the chess master (with an actual chess board) who has at least two complete personalities. If anyone can hide things, it’s him, which is why Jake was relying on him for their conspiracy. The one the discarded the moment ‘she’ showed up.

Yes, Kim, Brandon’s been plotting his evil master plan since the ages of four to eight. Aneeka wasn’t kidding about the trust issues, holy fudge. 😐
