The third ebook in my Chaos Gods series has been released today!! The paperback version will be available on April 17th.

Fifteen-year-old Ki doesn't care what half of the nine gods say. She will not let her parents die to save the Four Lands. Tavk, the trickster god, agrees to protect her parents as long as she completes his missions. For the promise of a happy ever after, Ki evolves into an infamous demonic fighter and tries to ignore her fading humanity and growing loneliness.

Then she meets De: the gods' new Hero. The gods need him trained fast and Tavk is only too happy to sign her up for the job. Two years older -- and distractingly handsome -- De practically worships Ki and wants to be both her best trainee and her best friend. But he doesn't know who she really is: The Wanted Child. The one the new Hero, De, is destined to kill so the gods can finally destroy her parents.

Good job! Book 3 was fun to (proof-)read. 🙂 Are my last few edits already in the eBook or will that update happen later?

Looks like you’re pulling a Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy on us and create an “increasingly inaccurately named trilogy of five” in the end. So the readers shouldn’t expect all their questions to be answered by the end of this book.

In that case you shouldn’t read my review on Amazon. 🙂 I don’t think I spoiled anything, but maybe raised curiosity a little bit for those who are still insecure. But avid fans are already supposed to know that you don’t read reviews as a general principle, at least until you’ve read the whole thing yourself.
But Aneeka not answering all questions by the end of a book that isn’t the final book should really be taken for granted, given past experiences in both the novels and the comic.

You could always try to apply as a proofreader as well, but I already proved my skills beforehand by correcting errors in the first two novels after buying them, so the errors are only corrected in the ebooks.

Yeah, I expected everything to conclude as well, so I was a bit disappointed when I slowly realized towards the end that there aren’t enough chapters left for everything to resolve. So I thought I’d do everyone a favor by saying that. Personally I would’ve preferred a note about that at the beginning instead of in the back of the book.
But sorry if that is a feeling you wanted to receive unspoiled.

It was always intended to be 4 books, never a trilogy. But everyone kept assuming it was a trilogy (probably because most fantasy books come as trilogies) so I figured I better explain at the end that there would be more books, especially since there will now be 5 books instead of 4. Book 3 gave me so much trouble since I was trying to condense so much and it was ruining the emotional payoff. I took off the last part and merged it into book 4, thinking that would solve it, but still had too much so I cut book 3 in half. That worked a lot better.

Okay, sorry, I don’t know why I concluded that.

Never mind, my Amazon review didn’t seem to get approved.
Maybe because I haven’t bought it yet, so it’ll have to wait until the book comes out.

Awesome to hear! I enjoyed reading the last two books, and I imagine the third will be no different. I’ll be waiting for the paperback, however, because I prefer having a hard copy. Good luck with the reviews!

That’s great! I’ve been waiting for this book to come out.

I enjoyed the first 2 books, they are relatively quick reads and hard to put down.

My sole complaint is you need a grammer and spelling editor who is harsh as there are a large number of errors that look spell check generated. Computer aided errors are usually incorrectly corrected typos, and tended to be in the faster moving portions of the books.

I am holding off reading the third book (my kindle already downloaded it) for a couple days since I expect to be “stuck” reading it for 6 – 8 hours.

Hahaha, regarding the spelling errors I get you 100%, man. This feeling is what all but forced me correct her older two books (so the ebooks should be better by now) and thus I was allowed to proof-read the third one. Since I only got to join a few days before the deadline I made it only about halfway through for the hardcover (because spell-checking takes a lot longer than just reading, and because I had Mo-Fr, i.e. no week-end), but I finished everything before the ebook came out. I hope you will like the result.

But even before my spell-checking there have been fewer errors than in the earlier books.

Btw: It’s not grammer, it’s grammar. 😉

Out of curiosity, when is it expected to release on Itunes? still shows as a preorder for me.

Odd; it shows it’s live on my end. I’ll send an email and see what’s going on.

iTunes can take some time to replicate data to all the different stores. Shouldn’t take more than a day, so it should be fine by now =)

Hmm, I bought all 3 books on the Kobo app, so my review will be there, if they allow reviews. These are the first books I bought from them. Currently half-way through the second book

I think it was a decent book, but it seems like Ki backslid a bit since the end of the last one. Also, it got overly cluttered in the middle.
