Thank you for memory lane, it has been a while and I forgot all about that little task.

I was going to comment the same thing! I appreciate whenever that is done.

D: “Yeah, she’s in the Game right now.”

I’m pretty sure she meant D to find Jane’s physical location, or at least her IP address, which could narrow it down. Not sure what she thinks she can do with that information, other than burn Jane’s computer.

Oh, that’s absolutely what was meant with regards to her physical location, I’m just imagine D making that joke at least at first.

Pretty sure Keiko has access to, among tons of other things, the network of delivery bots, of which Tenka seems unsurprised to lose units occasionally, owing to the hostility of the surface. Keiko could probably hijack a delivery bot and have it crash near Jane’s location, passing it off as a ‘rogue program’. It’s not like there’s enough manpower to dedicate to each and every little thing like that. There’s plenty of other ways that she could assist Jane remotely, too… though me assuming in the first place that Keiko intends to help Jane in this situation might be projecting, as we have no concrete confirmation that that’s the reason she had D hunt Jane down.

I’m pretty confident that she’s living in one of the “lost” delivery bots, or something equivalent in terms of moving around the world.

Further context to finding Jane occurs in the conversation which started around 613 (but especially 618-19) – the implication seems to be Kleya’s motives in finding Jane (in Reality) are that from there, she can work on a means to help her (and her children). Jane would ideally like The Game to be killed, so Tenka can focus their resources on actually helping people – especially given the number of AI characters formerly belonging to real people roaming around (including Jane’s husband and Kleya’s pre-ending character)…

Time for Kleya to be a hero IRL!
