The first whispers are a little confusing, is it possible to make them “spill” over to the other panel so it’s easier to read in the correct order, rather than starting with all the dude’s whispers and then figuring out that it’s a conversation?

Also the way A.I. Kat talks is indistinguishable from the real Kat. But I’m surprised it can talk at all. Is its voice different from Kat?

@mouse-over: Take it easy on the backgrounds. I am not able to distinguish time-consuming ones from seemingly easy backgrounds if they’re blurry anyway.

The voice is probably simulated in-game rather than immediate voice chat, which makes some amount of sense (allows for censoring of obscenities, for one).

Kinda feels like Bandit/Dude are going to find a reason to stay split up, somehow. Cave-in?

Orange is the Kesti alignment. All we know is it’s obsessed with quests and the alignment the famous Saisuke is.

Think of backgrounds as another character in your story.
They deserve just as much attention and personality.

If there is one thing I’ve learned in all my years of gaming its, “Don’t follow/trust the bots, they will always get you killed.”

Oh yeah, ESPECIALLY when your mission is “protect the bot”.
If you hate bots like that, never play the finale of The Witcher 1. I had to quicksave/load so. many. times.

Yeah, and that mission was so much worse than that, because the bots were actual fighters, so they tried their best to run into enemy soldiers together. You couldn’t give them healing potions, because Witcher potions are bad for normal humans, and you had to pull aggro and crowd control so many enemies. That fight would’ve been easier by myself.

Personally, I don’t think this Kat is a bot. 😉

This Kat is indistinguishable from the real one.

Is Danni colorblind? She’s in the yellow tunnel. It kinda doesn’t help that last week’s comic had a red tunnel that is now orange.

It’s orange – it’s just orange with tinges of red as sort of seams in the cavern walls – it’s also super glowing, which is why it’s weird looking.

Ultimately, what makes it difficult is that it’s the Kesti alignment tunnel presumably, so the important part is that it’s *not* Demoli’s brown.

Looks like some kind of transport hub.
Maybe the kind that was used by devs in a restricted area that only they were supposed to be able to get too.
There are a lot of those in mmorpgs.

In the original version of Everquest, you could check on peoples locations by zone, even the GMs. We often saw they were hanging out in the “Air Plane”. We laughed about how we could get tickets.
Eventually they changed it’s name and killed our ability to find GM locations. Then when they released the ability to go to various elemental planes, we could now go to an “air plane”, but I doubt it was the same one.

It’s not uncommon to find out that other RPGs that aren’t even online have them. Just google Fallout Dev Room and see what comes up. 🙂

Most of Bethesda’s games have “test rooms”. Just don’t visit the Fallout 76 dev room because you will be banned for hacking. 🙂

If orange is representative of the Kesti alignment and Pink is representative of the Erbana alignment; then either the bot chose the one in six chance that would help Danni find a new Esone in the alignment Danni wants; OR Kat is back and is choosing to go in the opposite direction of the Erbana door to take Danni to an Esone first.

Kat is thinking of Danni before herself!!!!
