The page seems broken, it’s not loading.

Just_IDD on 11/12/2019 @ 12:37 am

The comic isn’t loading. I get the header and footer bars but nothing’s between them on my phone. The previous page loads fine.

chrisjenl on 11/12/2019 @ 12:57 am

Comic page is not loading for me.

Ultimatespirit on 11/12/2019 @ 1:36 am

Hmm, not sure if it’s just me or not, but the page doesn’t seem to be loading D: Anyone else getting that?

FatedDarkly on 11/12/2019 @ 3:10 am

looks empty o-o

Jan on 11/12/2019 @ 3:28 am

Its easy to forget, what you cannot see πŸ™‚ (image is missing…)

Opus the Poet on 11/12/2019 @ 3:28 am

There’s no comic, in spite of there being a page for the comic to be at.

Ooorah on 11/12/2019 @ 3:30 am

The page isn’t displaying for me

Lamissquichante on 11/12/2019 @ 3:35 am

There’s no picture:(

Molly on 11/12/2019 @ 3:47 am

is there supposed to be an image there right now? there isn’t one for me, but I don’t know if that’s intentional or not

Mouseless on 11/12/2019 @ 4:34 am

Man this team is so f-ed, this is the third time someone got a teamkill xD

Nikary Flare on 11/12/2019 @ 4:36 am

Darn it, Dude. Overdid it!

…rest of the chapter: Dude running for his life screaming (or shrieking).

Keith Broderick on 11/12/2019 @ 4:37 am

Hmm, that’s a gutsy move for the Dude. Considering how scared of every one he is πŸ™‚

Ophidiophile on 11/12/2019 @ 2:59 pm

Somebody had to plant their face in somebody’s boobs; its a required trope! Bonus points if it’s the worst possible couple.

O8h7w on 11/12/2019 @ 4:55 am

Did the Dude kill Jane? To save Danny? If so… wow, I wonder where this is going.

HolyDragonBlade on 11/12/2019 @ 5:05 am

Am I the only one who can’t see the comic?

Adoni-Zedek on 11/12/2019 @ 5:58 am

I figured Bandit would grab her from behind. He’s had plenty of time to recover by now. But way to go, Dude!

Craig Rawe on 11/12/2019 @ 6:48 am

uh-oh.

Did Jane just “die” within range of Kat?
I hope Kat’s lack of an esone means she can’t gain or lose %, otherwise she’s gonna be upset…

Nikary Flare on 11/12/2019 @ 7:05 am

Well, Jake only told Brandon to not let _Kat_ kill anyone… he never said to not let anyone die by other means.

Nikary Flare on 11/12/2019 @ 7:10 am

But now that you mention it, Dude must have gained some Morto points now. He better be more careful from now on if he wants to stay Cardista.

Alex on 11/12/2019 @ 7:23 am

You mean any more upset than Bandit finding out that she hacked and must therefore be Keiko? πŸ˜€

Also, don’t worry, she’s in limbo and can’t gain or lose % without Esone.

Chronos on 11/12/2019 @ 6:51 am

Can’t say I expected the Dude to act.

GLJordan on 11/13/2019 @ 11:44 pm

I think the only person more surprised than us was Jane herself!

Alex on 11/12/2019 @ 7:22 am

I think the Dude killed her by puncturing her lung with his nose, possibly her solar plexus. πŸ˜‰

Also what did she plan to do with her dolls? I completely missed them 2 pages ago. Those things must be able to do more than what we saw in the tournament. Since they’re 4 programs tied together I assume 3 abilities and 1 core program to manage everything.

Siliconwolf on 11/12/2019 @ 12:04 pm

I recall a page after the tournament where she tried to activate her dolls and they failed. I think they’re broken.

Alex on 11/12/2019 @ 8:07 pm

You’re right, I remember that now, too. And iirc did Jane later ask Kat to repair them when she revealed her backstory. But I can’t find those pages anymore.

C-R* on 11/13/2019 @ 10:39 pm

If you’re looking in the achieves, there’s a skip (it’s missing pages 514 to 637, at least), meaning you won’t find it that way. What you’ll have to do is load one of the pages, and change the number after page-, on the url. — The page number you’re looking for is 615.

Alex on 11/14/2019 @ 11:10 pm

Oh shoot I completely forgot about the gap by now. Thanks! XD

Psiberkiwi on 11/12/2019 @ 7:24 am

So… did the Dude take a level in bad-a*** and off Jane himself? Despite usually being absolutely terrified of her? Dunno if he’ll ever get over this if he did…

Marscaleb on 11/12/2019 @ 8:45 am

And nine months later a dudette is born!

Johnny on 11/12/2019 @ 12:27 pm

Dude breaking character and killing off Jane! Just wait, next page will show the Dude freaking out to reestablish his image of comic relief.

Tom on 11/12/2019 @ 12:37 pm

Worst team ever.

Volk on 11/12/2019 @ 8:42 pm

It’s starting to feel like my DND party.

VoxelLibrary on 11/14/2019 @ 8:29 am

My group had a character not unlike Jane. Long story short, I no longer allow chaotic evil characters at my table.

Alex on 11/14/2019 @ 11:12 pm

That sounds like this characters was crazier than Belkar from OOTS.
But CE is susprisingly difficult. My DM told me there was a player who played is CE-character as chaotic/stupid, i.e. he picked fights with everyone.

VoxelLibrary on 11/15/2019 @ 12:20 pm

He wasn’t chaotic stupid though, he was just disruptive enough that the other players killed him.

anon on 11/12/2019 @ 4:31 pm

I feel like it should be noted that in double gravity a bad fall can kill, with emphasis on bad. plopping down into the sand on your back is very very likely to not cause any harm at all. the majority of the risk as I understand it comes from things like landing on arms knees or other weird angles and having the joints not be able to keep up with the added weight. flat on back means there’s no actual stress on her joints or anything going on, just more pressure than she’s probably used to. maybe she’ll get some bruising from the pressure but that’s all. Dude landing on her however is a whole different thing, I could see broken ribs or damaged organs from that, just please dont make it death by fall when it really shouldn’t be

Ooorah on 11/12/2019 @ 8:26 pm

That’s a good point in real life. However, they are in a game right now. I could see it being a pure points system based on which parts get “hit”. Could be something like:
dmg_from_fall*head_hit_penalty*double_gravity = dead level 1

Alex on 11/13/2019 @ 12:22 pm

I stick to my assumption that he punctured her lung with his nose. πŸ˜€

O8h7w on 11/19/2019 @ 1:42 am

Good point, but… When she hits the ground, her head has enough speed that the sudden stop is likely to cause her a concussion even if she landed on rather loose sand. And in double gravity I expect loose sand to be packed slightly less loosely, not much mind you. If there happened to be stone where her head fell her skull would probably.be cracked.

Meerling on 11/12/2019 @ 4:46 pm

Didn’t expect Dude to do that, but then again he has a major distrust of her, and with her just attacking the party and all.
Of course, maybe he didn’t think she’d get killed from just the fall, and that might be right, but he unintentionally used her as a landing mattress and squashed her pretty good while reducing his own damage.
I’d say that was a great plan by him, but he doesn’t seem to be the type to plan much of anything.

Alex on 11/13/2019 @ 12:26 pm

The Dude who avoided Bandit’s attack by having Danni push him off a tree by trying to hug her is most likely a genius planner like Irresponsible Captain Tylor or in Dragon Ball when Kami participated in that tournament. πŸ˜‰

So, yeah, I’m certain that the landing mattress was intentional.

Kale on 11/12/2019 @ 9:04 pm

Death by lucky pervert trope, don’t think I’ve ever seen that before.

Ladyofthemasque on 11/12/2019 @ 10:01 pm

He’s not a perv, folks.

If you look at panel 1, he’s shoving at her at full arm-length. That’s too far away to have faceplanted in her boobs.

If you look at panel 2, he lands below the level of her hair, which is as long as her bra band (below the boobs).

If you look at panel 3, he’s clearly too short along her body to have faceplanted in her boobs. He faceplanted in her stomach.

If you look at any of his past interactions with Jane, he’s clearly afraid of her, and has shown zero signs of interest in her from either a romantic or sexual standpoint. Zero interest. And lastly, he was saving the lives of both Kat and Danni, so…not a perv.

Ladyofthemasque on 11/12/2019 @ 10:02 pm

*All of this means Aneeka did an excellent job of figuring out how to draw the body positions realistically, at the right distances, to follow the action from start to finish, throughout all 3 panels. Way to go!!

Kale on 11/13/2019 @ 11:37 pm

Yes, Aneeka’s great.
And I was just cracking a joke. The lucky pervert trope, played straight, afflicts someone who is, in fact, not a pervert and often causes them to fall upon someone they are on less than friendly terms with. Kind of like Dude and Jane, or Dude and Kat, or Dude and Danni… Dude really does not get along too well with his female coworkers. Well, I think he is at least on better terms than Bandit and them, despite or perhaps because of his crippling fear of them.

Lurker314 on 11/13/2019 @ 12:31 am

Dude! Get a room!

Steeeve on 11/13/2019 @ 12:09 pm

She went see through?… I’m getting the idea that’s not normal sand.

Alex on 11/13/2019 @ 12:29 pm

Becoming see through likely means she died.

Psiberkiwi on 11/13/2019 @ 12:54 pm

Or she activated a special ability: “Fade Into the Shadows”… or sand, in this case.

Steeeve on 11/14/2019 @ 5:32 pm

Yeah, too easy a death imo. She fell into SAND after being kicked once by a low level pacifist. Sand said pacifist was going to use against anything that attacked (so it wouldn’t kill). Something isn’t what it seems. πŸ™‚

Eric on 11/13/2019 @ 12:44 pm

Do not try and see the comic, that’s impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth…there is no comic. Then you’ll see that it is not the comic that you see, it is only yourself.

(comic is fine for me, I just wanted to abuse the quote)

Not sure what Jane intended, but I don’t think death was the goal.

Craig Rawe on 11/14/2019 @ 2:44 am

oh, death WAS the goal I think, just not JANE’s death…

C-R* on 11/13/2019 @ 10:42 pm

I wonder if Dude just claimed the bounty on Jane.

JonesNate on 11/14/2019 @ 5:28 am

Dude’s desperate for a girlfriend?

Wesley Miles Byrd on 11/14/2019 @ 9:42 am

Are there usually this much TKing going on in the Game?

Anonymoose on 11/15/2019 @ 10:33 pm

Only when Bloody Mary’s trying to kill the game.

ShaoKhan on 11/15/2019 @ 8:27 pm

Dude wins!

FATALITY!

nine on 11/17/2019 @ 3:25 pm

I kind of expected at least one attempted murder with Jane on the team but I did expect that Kat had added some β€œno one In my range can die” code

Kytheros on 11/19/2019 @ 1:10 am

That would probably be a special – and she doesn’t have an esone to allow her to use specials. Since, y’know, she’s trying to not hack things.

Also … if she had such a power, neither she nor Danni would have died in the last bout of intra-party dickishness.

DragonMaster on 11/18/2019 @ 10:33 pm

LOL it was only a Sand Clone all along!
