Eeee! <3 We get to see how she met Mina & family!!

Nice, always wondered how someone like Mina and Kat ( I can’t recall the correct spelling for all the other names she could be listed under ) actually became friends.

While it’s full of stress and lack of communication, I have to think that Kat’s time with Mina and her family has probably been some of the healthiest interaction Kat has ever actually had with people. After the end of the world…through an entirely VR experience…and yet it’s something she chose to do and keep doing. No preconceptions, no friends or carefully planned out events by parents who apparently think hiring friends is the best way to go….nope.. Kat -CHOSE- to interact with, and then KEEP interacting with this lone family of Outsiders.

I don’t mean to demean any of the interaction she’s had with Danni, just without the time she’s spent with Mina and her family I doubt she’d have given Danni a second glance

Even though she did them a huge favor, they could have reacted very badly. They could have pried, accused her of being a hacker, tried to take advantage of her skills to save themselves, or simply not trusted her. As K knows from experience, being smart enough to solve people’s problems is _NOT_ enough to make friends or win trust.

I think this background story goes a long way towards explaining why Mina&Family are so accepting of K, given her oddness (and the one time she lied to Mina).

Love a good backstory! ^_^

Oh the possibilities… Kat ventures into VR… possibly to help people and be good… and manages to come across someone who could really use her kind of help (or maybe D lead her there?).

They learn to move with finger movements right? So does she just teach them a game feature they didn’t know about or hack the game (does she play it off as a hidden feature or do they know she can hack?). Or will it take some other path? 🙂

Hehe ok I’m rereading this now cuz I apparently forgot stuff, like how she programmed for Mina. ^_^

We need to upload for the game in ten minutes.
That gives us nine minutes for a flashback!
