I don’t think she believes you Bandit

friendlymosquito on 03/12/2019 @ 6:24 am

It’s almost like Jake was ALSO poorly socialized as a child <.<

Dragon Master on 03/12/2019 @ 9:01 am

LOL looks like Danni holds a grudge. Not that I blame her …

Justin on 03/12/2019 @ 9:17 am

“Never going to forgive me OF that” sounds weird. “For” maybe?

CptNerd on 03/12/2019 @ 9:27 am

I love how Danni can be sarcastic without saying a word in that last panel!

Nikary Flare on 03/12/2019 @ 10:02 am

Danni’s right, you know.

You just consistently thwart somone’s attempts to keep their life-support on over months and kill one of their friends and they simply refuse to let it go. Can’t they see that it was an accident? How were you to know that straining people’s resources on a post-abundance world would have consequences?

But enough Bandit-bashing(Bashit? Banding?), I am used to forgiving “for” something rather than “of”. “Of” might work, is this a regional thing?

Darkening on 03/15/2019 @ 7:57 am

Huh, never really thought of flipping the term post-scarcity around, but I suppose it fits pretty well. Interesting.

Kizarvexis on 03/15/2019 @ 11:13 am

I’m fairly certain that only Kat knows about Danni’s situation amongst the comic characters.

Chiu ChunLing on 03/12/2019 @ 8:38 pm

Well, at least me and Jake finally agree about something.

I also want to know what really happened, rather than what everyone else says happened.

Starwaster on 03/12/2019 @ 9:51 pm

These people are all so deliciously dysfunctional!

Mikol on 03/16/2019 @ 7:51 am

The end of civilization as we know it, does that.

Viridian on 03/13/2019 @ 1:48 pm

Danni is honestly Kleya’s most reliable friend at this point, its really amazing how much they look out for one another

“If you talk to her and tell her that you’re not on my side but on her’s, I won’t like – that’ll probably help.”

Archangel on 03/15/2019 @ 7:54 am

Unfortunately, telling her that the fate of humanity (or what’s left of it) rides on her shoulders will do more harm than good. :-/

hariman on 03/15/2019 @ 10:32 pm

I get the feeling that the final panel is a mix between “You are such a s***bag” and “I can’t believe I’m even considering helping this jerk.”

Danni DOES have reason to not trust Bandit here… but he’s also giving her honest reasons to give him at least a small chance.

I suspect she might ask a little more, but I also think she’s more interested in making sure that Kat is okay.

I LOVE EVERYTHING DANNI. MORE DANNI GEAR!

I love the story, unfortunately I don’t have enough patience… Have anyone read anything else from Aneeka? And is it up to pair? It doesn’t have to be a comic though…

Flynn on 03/18/2019 @ 12:58 pm

This is the only thing I’ve read from Aneeka, but it’s really good.
It’s got good plot and 3 different art styles for reality, L.i.F.e., and the Game, all of which work well.
Internal mechanics are also consistent so far.

Centeris2 on 03/18/2019 @ 11:36 pm

She has also published Chaos Gods (three books so far), it’s an excellent series! You can find links to them on the store page, they’re available on Amazon (and probably elsewhere)

Eskild Jacobsen on 03/24/2019 @ 1:57 pm

Great, thanks. I’ll be sure to check them out

You know, I came to see if the new comic was up yet and read a few of the first comments here and it made me realize something really interesting that is also worrisome considering our current world.

We’re discussing an apocalypse of global proportions. Large enough that the common people have beliefs about hacked geomagnetic spheres and such, and yet the “truth” of what really happened is a near perfectly kept secret, even from those that were actively involved.

Is it just me, or is that not a terrifying concept in it of itself?
