It wouldn’t be so bad if he’d been being honest about it, but he’s been telling Danni these are ‘random encounters.’ :I Bad bandit! *spray bottle*

my guess is that he’s actually doing it that way to make sure they miss, as he already mentioned he’d rather not have them on at all. so he’s going to make sure they are in really easy to miss spots. so it’ll have enough excitement to keep Dani happy, but not so much that it will distract her from what he thinks she needs to focus on.
as for him not being honest well he doesn’t want Dani to know he’s dumbing down the difficultly. Also depending on how long it takes to send a message, it might be one of those things where he doesn’t have time to fire one off to cat while still making it look smooth to Danni. Also there’s the question even if he could get of a quick, yes I’m controlling them but I’m also aiming to miss on purpose message; would she believe him anyways?

“Random” would be way harder. Jake is aiming to MISS so Danni gets confidence.

They say you learn best by losing. I don’t think she understands that. He can also tailor things to best train her by being in full control. 🙂

And something must be going right in her training if Danni likes this kind of practice and wants to show it off to Kleya. Kleya may hate it for reasons of her own, but it must be working for Danni.

She hates it because she’s got 0 control over this. and she notices that the match is being rigged, lets not forget the last time she was with a close friend in a rigged training match how badly that went. So I can see why she’s more likely to jump to the wrong conclusion.

I really like how excited seems when she sees Danni dancing in 2G, at least until she’s distracted by the projectiles

Balance in 2G should be much easier than in 0.5G or less. The real problem is fine motor control.

Here’s praying for Bandit that he doesn’t get fried by Dee and Kleya.

Danni is standing on point, one legged. I can’t even stand on point with both legs in 1G. It might be easier than at 0.5G, but considering the physical strength required, I really doubt it.

Not really. The higher the gravity, the faster someone will fall out of equilibrium when nlt perfectly balanced

In 2G, acceleration towards the ground will be faster, which means less time to adjust your stance. Center of balance and center of gravity will not change, so the only difference between high gravity and low gravity from a balance perspective is the time it takes to find it.

Really nice picture of Danni dancing. Looks like water-colors too! 🙂 I’ve met you, so I know this was not done by an “Old Master”, but that’s kind of the feel I get from it. 🙂

Hmph.. I meant to emphasize the word “Old” in this. 😉
