Bandit: (She’s leaving? Oh no!)

Dani: “Please just stay for this next one.”

Bandit: (Of course! Let Dani do the persuasion. I’m a genius!)

Dani: “I dance in that one.”

Bandit (Oh no!)

I am confused as well.

Next page music plays: Dance! And the kitty kats. And they dance dance dance and they dance dance dance.

It’s not so much confusion (It sounds like the dancing part is really bad, or perhaps he’s having flashbacks to the Game Trials.), so much as a reference to a joke meme that goes “I’m a genius!” “Oh No!”.

I wonder if going to an audio or kinesthetic information overlay will help Danni more then the default visual overlay. Directional audio cues are something she is already used to using for dance. And vibrating/cold spots/pokes might help for quest markers, status bars and foe awareness.

ooo neat. I wonder if there are kidos that are not impants with that much information. Or how paralyzed Danni is if she can still operate likely old/cheap kido – even w one arm down Mina’s sister has trouble.

Actually, wouldn’t game/life not be sending K any information her old model kido (not what she uses but what she claims to use) or notice her pulling for info than she ought to be able to use?

That is actually a very good idea. I wouldn’t be surprised if you just totally called what Aneeka thought up for Danni. 🙂

LOL good luck to all 3 of three of them, they’ll need it to sort this mess out.

Also I like panel 1, the droopy cat ears are cute.

I think she just needs a hug.

Burnt on 12/18/2018 @ 8:04 pm

Yes danni! Make her feel wanted. She may not be needed but she certainly is wanted.

I am guessing the scenario is based on something that involves K&B’s past history. If Bandit thinks he is hiding his identity from Keiko, he won’t want to run a scenario that he & Keiko made together, for example.

Iron Ed on 12/18/2018 @ 10:28 pm

Is it square-dancing? You’ll need a few more people! 😉

A sexy duet with Bandit to illustrate to Danny how she can work dance into an audience pleasing team interplay.

GLJordan on 12/20/2018 @ 2:46 am

I suspect the scenario has personal significance to either Keiko or her mother and Bandit worries how she will react to it

I think the issue is Bandit is intentionally trying to get Kat to reveal herself in such a way that it gives him leverage over her (as we know he is trying to get “close” to her now and has repeatedly tried to get her to expose herself) and the dancing probably wouldn’t give him the chance he wants. I can’t think of another genuine reason to not want the dancing as we know she’s a phenomenal dancer.

Cat on 01/22/2019 @ 7:47 pm

I think panel 1 looks good! You can see Kat’s ears are drooped and sad and Bandit and Dani both look a little panicked that she’s leaving.
