can’t even let training be training, can you kat..

But resisting the urge to hack is her training and as training goes, there will be the occasional slip-up. 🙂

She seems to be switching pretty quickly between “this is too easy” and “oh no she needs to succeed” here… Wonder how this will play out.

Moridain on 11/20/2018 @ 2:38 am

Kleya really is looking at this stuff backwards. She isn’t supposed to help her win, she is supposed to help her get good enough to win by herself.

Her prejudice against losing is showing again.

Kat, you should TELL, not “tweak”! Your helping now will only make it worse in the long run!

Fursdon on 11/20/2018 @ 5:05 am

He’s got both of them in training then? Sneaky, sneaky Jake.

Dude on 11/20/2018 @ 4:39 pm

Dude! Bandit is smart!

This is a good example of how Kat can’t cope with really basic stuff like having her friend practice instead of being instantly good at things. When Kat’s in the game, under stress, it makes more sense for her to react on instinct to fix things, but in a calm practice setting….

Of course, she’s had that problem with practice settings before, come to think of it, it just really struck me in this page because it’s not even her win at stake.

Oh my goodness, it’s killing Kat internally not being able to do anything! I know that feeling.

This is basically me trying to do Minecraft Parkour …

Ahaha same xD and Kleyas that friend whos got the whole map done in less than a minute while you’re still stuck on the first tricky jump

If you hold her hand, she won’t learn.

It sucks to let a newbie make mistakes and hold your tongue, though.

I’m beginning to feel more and more that Kleya isn’t really obsessed with winning, per se. She is obsessed with being in control of everything, and doesn’t handle it when things happen outside of her control, as evidenced here. She hates losing, because it means that she lost control. As such, it has fed into a desire to win, and that might be what she thinks she is trying to overcome, but the desire to win seems to be more of a symptom of an even more difficult trait to overcome.
