Now I’m really curious about WHAT was Brandon’s idea.

Well, since he’s pretty much NAV’s Fansy the Bard, I assume something along the lines of “luring a bunch of giants to have him trampled while he is running away”.

So this was after they took down the hacker group? Basically her dad was trying to reward Jake for helping to take out “dad’s” daughter and Jake’s best friend. Yeah, I could see him reacting to that.

Curious what Brandon’s plan was though. Bomb to the face? I thought he was traumatized by the robot attacks by the hackers? So I thought he’d be all for the group that took them out (at least initially). Unless he still blamed “dad” for making it all possible?

They’re talking about Jake’s dad, not Keiko’s.

After beating the hackers the Earth was in ruin, plenty of room for Jake’s dad to screw over a bunch of survivors in a way that would have wound Brendon up.

I think that Brandon is actually doing a great job at preventing Kat from snapping by teasing her lightly and then letting her vent her anger on him.

That is pretty much literally what the Fool archetype is for, isn’t it? 😀

I didn’t know that, but it makes sense. 🙂

If he can keep her around to talk a bit after that “I know who you are” revelation, I think they’ll both come out of it okay. If not… *shrug*
