“Well,. I deleted any messages he sent to me, so…”

Haiddon on 05/22/2018 @ 1:16 am

I think the second speech bubble of panel 3 is missing a word

Alex on 05/22/2018 @ 7:24 pm

Yes, either a “his” is missing or it should be “areas”.

Alex on 05/23/2018 @ 7:54 am

Also now that the typo is fixed, I am still wondering whether the newly-added “his” should really be bold or not.

“Bandit is trying.”
Yes, he’s very trying, but everyone is still putting up with him, even after he tried to PK the party, and definitely weakened the entire group.
Yes, I’m dissing on Bandit. Even if he is trying to do something decent, maybe, he sure doesn’t know how to not screw over everyone else.

Now if he provided those two with new Esones, that would go a long way to helping, and it would get the team almost to where they were before he went stupid and attacked his own party.

I can’t help but think you’re missing the real meat of the issue here. Jake was trying to keep Kleya from blowing her cover. He more or less knows who she is, and is actively working to try and keep the rest of tenka off her back.

Attempting to be a super nice person she forgot that she was also a perfectionist when it came to the game, let alone a perfectionist who knows how to use the pacifist route. She was giving herself away and he did the only thing he could do in a snap decision, PK her.

As far as Jake superiors know she would never allow herself to lose. This did a lot of damage to the potential relationship but ultimately he saved her life. Don’t forget most of the world wants to kill kleya.

I think that you are missing a “his” in the third panel, second bubble, before “own”.

Wow, Kleya sure is putting in a lot of effort to get that effect. Can’t she automate a special to put a protective layer of hair between her face and whoever she is speaking to? It would make things much easier for her, and she could sell it to Jane!

Did this do more benefit to Bandit’s Kleya-rating or more harm to Danni’s Kleya-rating? Panel 2 tells me “harm” but panel 4 gives me hope for a recovery. No! Wait!I am against KleyaXBandit! (Kandit? Banya?) DOOM! DOOM! DOOM!

Psiberkiwi on 05/22/2018 @ 7:26 am

Sorry for the niggle, but there seems to be a slight error in Danni’s second word bubble in panel three. It reads, “He has own training area…” and I feel it should read, “He has his own training area…”

Also, I’m not sure about Kleya’s comment in panel two, whether it should read as printed, or be, “You talked to him?”

Justin on 05/22/2018 @ 12:06 pm

“You talk to him” seems to imply that Kleya is nervously reevaluating whether she can trust Danni or not (the implication being that it was both more than a one time contact AND would continue to be ongoing). TALKED would imply it to be a more one-time event

Psiberkiwi on 05/24/2018 @ 10:08 am

Ahh… Corrected, I stand.

Kel on 05/22/2018 @ 10:10 am

No, cute art day! I think every panel looks great! 🙂

So is Bandit’s plan to get close to Danni to get to Kleya going to work or completely backfire? 8D

Iron Ed on 05/22/2018 @ 3:21 pm

IF it works, I don’t think it will be a particularly friendly meeting. No ‘fighting’, but definitely not all warm-and-fuzzy either.

Alex on 05/22/2018 @ 7:31 pm

So Kleya knows from Mina, but doesn’t know that Danni talks to him? So either Bandit forgot to mention Danni is there, too (highly unlikely), or Mina is really bad at reading and understanding messages. 😀

GLJordan on 05/23/2018 @ 10:23 pm

think of it this way “five weeks” ago bandit sent an invite to Dani and Kleya that they could met. Kleya ignored it and just now finds out that Dani took him up on it.

Alex on 05/24/2018 @ 10:52 am

Well, Danni told Bandit during their training to message Mina, so I don’t think it was five weeks. I prefer to think of Mina as a wordy type of person, especially when Bandit is involved, so she must’ve given Kleya only the essentials and a ton of fluff.

ven on 05/23/2018 @ 5:14 am

I hate Bandit, he is so unlikeable, if that was what you were going for you created a great villain. His interaction with Danni showed a thoughtless selfabsorbed douche, he didn’t even seem to care people died because of his AI bullys.

Guest on 05/23/2018 @ 3:30 pm

This IS post-apocalyptic. There is probably more of a tendency to think of death as “statistics” rather than “people”. He is dealing with people who are quite candid about the demise of entire cities. I still do’t like it, and it is fair if you want it to be a mark of unrecoverable evil, he did basically send out thug-bots to beat people up with no consideration for the death-toll, but it isn’t accurate to judge him by familiar standards.

It also doesn’t help that he is not an expressive person. Promising to adjust them to stop it from happening again is probably close to his best repentant apology.

What he did WAS pretty terrible, even in context, but it is still important to consider that context when judging people. Of course, he is fictional, so according to most belief-systems doesn’t matter, so feel free to hate on him all you like if it makes you happy. He only exists for expression and entertainment.

asdfasdf on 05/23/2018 @ 8:10 am

daring? did you not just tell him to do exactly that a little while ago?

asdfasdf on 05/23/2018 @ 1:16 pm

unless she means he has been warned and choose to take all mina’s messages as the price of contacting kat. on 2nd look that could be a face concerned for bandit’s safety/sanity as the result of sempai accidentally noticing mina on top of mina’s compulsiveness

Guest on 05/23/2018 @ 3:34 pm

She told him that was how he could contact her, she never said it was a good idea. Mina is an active fangirl and his contact details are an arming sequence.
