Btw, the Kickstarter for NAV 5 launches next Tuesday, May 15th and will end May 31st. The initial goal is $10K with a stretch goal for $20K to reprint NAV 1 (plus some stretch goals in between). Hope we can pull it off in 2.5 weeks! Eek!

Most of the picture is getting cut off… I had to right click and choose “View image” to be able to read it.

Comic is 2800×3950 pixels and not autoscaling to fit inside its designated space. This is on mobile (Android, Dolphin) but I usually read from this web browser without such problem.

I was able to read it by opening the image separately, and it is a good page 🙂

It won’t be long before Kleya loses her wonderful generic-appearance anonymity at this point.

For now, most web-browsers have means of viewing images directly and resizing them. Or people can download the image and view it on any image-viewing program.

A little big, but opening the image in a new tab informed me that there was in fact more than a Danni pose and a couple silhouettes.

I’m not sure if anyone else is seeing this, but the comic is much larger than the window and needs to be scrolled through

You appear to have accidentally uploaded the comic at 2800 x 3950 in a scrolling div, which makes it a little hard to read.

Hmm… Jumbo picture again. A problem with the formatting, perchance?

There appears to be something wrong with the comic today. On the three devices I’ve used, it is super scaled up, the frame remains as wide as normalm an a bit taller than normal. I can only see a portion of one frame at a time. I can scroll the comic to see the rest if I’m on a mobile device, but not on my PC.
(Also, though this may just be my PC, since it doesn’t happen on mobile, I keep getting redirected to junk pages)

Something major wrong with the display. No word balloon in the first frame might be intentional, but PART of a word balloon in the second containing only “THA” is clearly the result of some problem. Please check and correct!

Ok… so I’m seeing this page super zoomed-in, how do I view this page so I can actually read it? Btw I am running this page thru safari on a iPad.

It’s not showing up correctly. All I get is an enlarged version of the left side of the strip. “No, that’s only in the game. th… th…”

OK, now it’s fine.

I love how, when I first visit the site, it tells me there are no comments. “Oh ho!” I think to myself. “If no one has commented, then Aneeka must not know there’s a problem with the image!” So I dutifully post my comment, and then find out 20 people before me have already pointed it out.

And they found somewhere better to hang out, and never set foot in a library again! 😀

LOL! Twenty-two comments, and only a couple of them talk about anything other than the picture being too big! Apparently very few people bother to read others’ comments before speaking themselves. (rolls eyes)

I am amused by the blobs’ conversation, and Danni finally noticing them. 🙂 Will Danni and Kleya move somewhere where Aneeka will never have to draw and color all those books again? 😉

As Adoni-Zedek pointed out, about 20 of the comments were made before any of them was showing. And since that comment was made just 22 minutes before yours, it is quite likely you did not see it. And maybe someone else already replied to you with this exact explanation. You might say the system is slow, to that I’d say there is no hurry 🙂

To be fair, if you submit a comment before moderation happens, you wouldn’t necessarily know that anyone else had reported the issue.

Just a comment on characterization: I love that we learn about the characters so naturally. When you first meet her, Danni is very standoffish and prickly, and yet more she shows a caring side [that isn’t new, we’ve seen it a fair amount now, just observing] all workout it feeling shoehorned in. Easily one of the best character development cases I have ever been able to enjoy. Applause to Aneeka.

Well.. Silly me! 🙂 I have never been able to figure out the time-stamps on comments. As far as I can see, the first post was about 9 hours before mine. I didn’t even realize this group was moderated as my comments seem to appear very shortly after I submit them…I think. 😉 Sorry about this! It just gets tiresome to see sooo many webcomics where one has to wade through -many- posts from commenters who obviously don’t bother to read prior posts before commenting themselves. Apologies to whomever feels they are owed one! 😉 🙂 🙂

When your comments appear (to you), do they have the little note that says “This comment is awaiting moderation” ? Because that’s what happens with mine 😛

(Not that I blame them for that sentiment, as a fellow introvert.)

I don’t know, there’s something to be said about mystery, particularly with the uber unorthodox herbana in the group.

Danni might very well not realize that they want to talk to them, and instead they’re just “standard” stalker-fans, watching and listening to her and Kat, and whispering back and forth to each other.

Danni wants to have a private conversation with Kat about something, possibly multiple somethings. The presence of other people nearby who are closely paying attention to them is not conducive to a private conversation.

It was worth the wait.

Gotta love the assumption that whoever Danni talks to MUST be Kat’s player. G-d bless.

I like it when a meta reason is the reason for plot developments, like their changing the scene because of annoying fans, while the true reason is the annoying books. ^^

Annoying backgrounds like bookshelves in perspective is a big part of why so many anime have CGI backgrounds or other elements… I’d definitely consider a 3d model so I could change the camera angle and render whenever I needed a library backdrop. (But then, I can’t draw in 2D EXCEPT things like bookshelves in perspective, so I use 3D modeling for everything….)
