I did NOT see that coming. This comic is a masterclass in unexpected plot twists – and I love it 🙂

Plot twist, he is faking it that he was faking it, it really was by chance. Okay, I have plot twists on the brain.

The Dude: “So,. now that that’s been revealed, I guess you should know I’m the leader of the underground, and secretly the leader of Deconstruct Me.”

The Bandit: “…So you really *did* find the portal by accident.”

The Dude: “…Yes…of course…you got me found out…”

This does not bode well for Brandon.

So that heavily implies that the game manager or someone close to her is part of the underground. But I guess we should be assuming she is because of how she keeps conspiring with Jane over Kleya.

Actually, I’d expect Brandon to be part of the underground.

This means that the vast manority of the population is unaware that simply sayi g cat’s real name or insulting her father could potentially crash both games and every major life support system on the planet. They are living in fear that a hacker could gain control… of something they never regained control of.

I can see why facial expressions would be tricky here. I think you did a really good job, especially the second panel, awesome “I am SO not convinced” face!!!
