Good choice going with the blobs. 🙂 I admit I’d like to know what the goons and the programmer actually look like, but as that would require Reality art I’m putting that question right at the bottom of my huge list of things I’d like to know about NAV.

Btw: How have you been doing lately? Aside from stable regular updates (Good job! ^^), you’ve been quite silent for the last couple of months, i.e. no new Aneeka channel content, no status updates regarding your 3rd novel and no responses to E-Mails. If it’s just because you’re finally back to LiFe-style and can take it easy for a bit, then that’s great, but somehow I get the feeling that that isn’t quite the case.

RL has been rough and I haven’t handled it so well, but at least I’m managing regular comic updates! No new news for the 3rd novel, yet; still trying to get it to work. I have been answering emails, though (albeit slowly). Are you not getting those?

I like the blob choice, it is a nice little bit of comic relief amid the heavy drama of Tenka society falling groaning under the stress of the near extinction.

Comic until we recall the sea of blobs trying to a chance to play, or the fate of Outsiders, and how awful it is to be tossed Outside . . . (kill me now). We’re waiting to see just what kind of justice Kim believes in–how easy it is for her to throw those who are trying to keep from starving in with people who have other motives.

I can just imagine the Kimi-san blob’s backstage chatter: “I got to have hair! Isn’t it awesome? You can see it on *both* sides of my head! I’m so detailed now!”

I wonder if Mary’s connected to this underground…

Minor nitpick, the three speech bubbles in the far bottom right;

I like the way the interjection was handled, but its almost universally bad to connect to the Bottom of bubbles. text should always be read top to bottom, and in the direction of the text flow whenever possible, so doing that as well as connecting to the top of bubbles is also the norm as far as i’ve seen it.
