“Someone got lucky therefore there must be cheating involved.”

Really captures the whole metagame experience of online games.

You know those days where you think “my boss is an idiot”?….

Christopher on 05/26/2017 @ 12:34 pm

To be fair, they did have a spy. “It is not paranoia if they are truly out there to get you”

MikeyLikesIt on 05/26/2017 @ 7:25 pm

It is still paranoia. But it means you weren’t WRONG.

Plus the Dude’s strategy of being scared of everything was established waaaay back…

Alex on 05/29/2017 @ 2:25 am

Yeah, that makes me really wonder why Kim would hide the portal exactly this way. Makes me think that
a) Kim is really stupid
b) The Dude had a different strategy throughout the tournament.
c) Kim has hidden portals and stuff all over the Game, but didn’t expect the game manager to put them right there, be it on purpose or not.
d) Players have all kinds of different play styles, because originality = viewers, so no matter how they hide the portal, there is always the danger of being discovered.

I think it’s a).

Also I’m really surprised that the Dude isn’t with Tenka after all. So Bandit is the only Tenka guy who made it in, then.

She seems rather pissed.

Christopher on 05/26/2017 @ 12:32 pm

Kim is the kind of leader that has to asume everyone is out to screw her over. And she is usually right too.

Just_IDD on 05/26/2017 @ 4:05 pm

IMLEH, people only are out to screw the leader if they try to take all the credit and none of the blame

“You, who always have some nose in everyone’s business, not aware of your friend’s doings?”
“Have (always) had” would make the phrase be in present perfect tense (linking the past and the present actions of him continuously being nosy since the past). “Always” would be in between because “have” is now the auxiliary verb.
The intended idiom, which I assume to be “stick/shove/put your nose into,” is unclear here. “Have” doesn’t fit the idiom. Also, is it possible to stick only “some” nose in someone’s business? I thought it was either it’s in or it’s not with this idiom.
Bringing all these factors into play, “who have always stuck your nose in/into…” or “who have always snooped around in” may fit a bit better.
Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. I’m not that knowledgeable about grammar, but I hope it helps!

The plot thickens.

But in this case, I’m personally pretty sure it was random. Dude is constantly in flee mode because it gives him stat boosts.

Alexander The 1st on 05/28/2017 @ 10:34 pm

In Bandit’s defense, the Dude was never supposed to be near death; that was Jane’s fault for leaving the party early, thus making his initial flee command make him appear to be near death due to even numbers against a Mani, Demoli, and Morto.

Solaris on 05/29/2017 @ 12:56 pm

Bandit looks so done with this and it’s hilarious!
