I can see that you have improved, because you don’t have the tendency to draw the heads too big any more when the characters are far away. 🙂

But man, whenever the characters are far away I wish you’d upload the full-sized page instead.

If you don’t keep track of where you’ve been, how will you know where you’re going?

Dude, mapping runs isn’t important, but it does help to keep track of where you went. You know, in case you need to find your way back… or you know…you need to send for help?

How hard can a portal be to find? Just gotta light a candle and move away from where the flame is blowing towards, right?… wait did I get my methods mixed up? It’s the one with a pineapple carved into an hourglass shape, isn’t it…

I guess I’m the first to comment? Well anyways I’m lost at this point and is it just me or does bandit’s look seem a bit off.

Psiberkiwi on 01/31/2017 @ 4:17 am

And there’s the rest of the rhyme… and it sounds suspiciously like a threat…

But is it against TENka in particular, or all those who call themselves citizens in general?

Ladyofthemasque on 01/31/2017 @ 5:22 am

You’re actually doing a great job advancing the perspectives into new angles! *cheers*

I think it’s kind of interesting how Kat has her head tucked down…almost like she’s so used to staring at the code inside the virtual illusions, she doesn’t want anyone to SEE her staring at “nothing” and thus realize she’s directly reading the codes…

Okay, let’s let somebody chase you again and see if you find it again.
Jane volunteers.

SlugFiller on 01/31/2017 @ 10:39 am

Why doesn’t he? It seems like the smart thing to do

I finally got around to ordering your two novels! 😀
US-Amazon required a credit card from me, though, since I don’t have a US bank account, and since I hate credit cards I chose German Amazon instead, so unfortunately there won’t be any affiliate-link bonus. But hey, I get the books faster. ^^

Give me a heads-up if you ever find the time to put other stuff on German Amazon, especially the mugs that show an image when glowing, ok? Did you buy some extras for Cons and Meet-ups or did you just buy the ones that were sort of pre-ordered?

Welcome to the agony of waiting for novel 3… 😛

It is a pain that never dies.

Alex on 02/02/2017 @ 1:56 pm

Okay, maaaybe I should take it really slow then. 🙂

The constant smile from Bandit is no longer encouraging, but creepy and psycho. Dude’s fear, at least, seems more honest.

mnmega on 01/31/2017 @ 5:18 pm

Is it bad that i’m with Jane on killing the tenka monsters?

Torrenal on 02/01/2017 @ 12:14 am

Monster is a relative term. And I suspect none of those present would count the others there as monsters. Except The Dude, who would count everyone but Jake as a monster. Oh sure, Danni _looks_ harmless, but she’s a full fledged Morto.

That said…
Imagine you’re a goblin, and you have a nice little town carved into a mountain, with a pet dragon Steve that’s been with your clan for centuries and a small force of just 20 humans show up uninvited… harmless looking folks sure, until they pull out their staves their bows, their swords and start to slaughter everyone and everything in sight. Oh sure, Steve kills them all with one breath, insant 20 dead humans. Who come back from the dead (yay for respawn points?) and resume the attack. Dying, but never having the decency to stay wounded. Never stopping, a like a hoarde of unkillable zombies that kill all and destroy all, tearing up your town, putting down Steve, and walking off with all the gold totems, decorations, regalia, tc, from your temple.

Humans make the worst monsters.

Can I play as a goblin?

Poor Steve, I knew him well. His baelfire breath shal be eternally missed in winter.

Wait, I almost forgot:
Dude, you did NOT do a panicked run when you found the portal. You were faking it in order to create a distraction, so Kat could tie up Aza, remember?

Also, just ask your watchers where the portal was. There’s got to be someone who is willing to help in exchange for a few seconds of fame.

Wind on 02/01/2017 @ 10:29 pm

Now I’m curious how alright it is to be using watchers like that. If it’s perfectly fine and a widely used strategy, it might be considered “cheating” by the watchers themselves and you would lose watchers for not just being more awesome, vs some people using it as a way to engage their watchers, hey if you watch enough you can be a useful part of the game!

But maybe such things are regulated in the rules of the game. Stats and popularity are important, so there may be an official statement on whether it is alright to get input from the watchers or not. Bandit constantly knows how popular the group is, so maybe it is a viable strategy for watcher interaction.
