Just a friendly reminder that “Jane” isn’t quite so much a persona as everyone thinks. Or, at the very least, the Game isn’t why she’s using it…

Is it me or is Jane’s rhyme incomplete? And why do I get the feeling we -aren’t- going to like how it ends…

I’m glad that I’m not the only one who noticed that. Its like a sliver in my finger – no matter how hard I try to ignore it, it just keeps bothering me! And somehow I suspect that part of her anti-Tenka rant will be explained soon… maybe.

“They’re killing my kids.”

Something about TENka is definitely driving Jane down a dark path – she’s not just the psycho-killer Bloody Mary everyone keeps painting her as; some big and nasty bug has crawled up her… umm… skirt and, bit by bit, Aneeka is revealing Jane’s backstory. (Thar be shoals ahead, matey.)

I just wonder how much of that story connects with Kleya’s story…

We do know that TENka is killing her kids, but for an unknown (to us) reason.

Yeah, seems familiar and incomplete to me as well. I can’t figure out what rhyme it’s based of off though. Anyone got any ideas?

For Jane, this isn’t just about the game, and not even just about her own personal interests and tastes.

For Jane, this has something to do with society, and perhaps with change. The story concerning Jane just expanded. At least for me, this is beyond the limited scope that I had for Jane’s motives.

Will we finally get to see how the trees are apparently killing her kids?

? I think you understood that part wrong. The trees aren’t killing her kids, but someone is. It has not been solidly confirmed WHO is killing the kids, but we all are sure it’s TENka based on countless points and also context clues.

Odd, didn’t Jane speak when he was threatening The Dude? Or did you mean since then?

It means since she got up from the Bandit’s Demoli blow.

It’s a PM Jane, you dont need to be in character.

She’s in character because that tells Bandit that she’s not messing around.

I really love this page, especially the last panel. Just Bandit’s look, and the way Jane pulls away, and also just what she says, it’s giving me chills how amazing/awesome of a story and art it is.

I have lost track of some things over time, but… evidence is that Jane is in this game both for real life financial gain (which is desperately needed) and out of revenge). Whether TENka has already killed her children or is in the process of doing so… and whether they are actually HER children or just children she has charge of (perhaps she was a teacher or daycare worker when the big bad went down)… she blamed TENka for her dire situation and does all she can do to disrupt the game. However, she was blacklisted in the prior game, which means she didn’t win anything, and is back so the financial end is less likely and the revenge end more dominant.

Hard to figure this one out, but likely her game persona is her real one. She’s on the warpath for whatever reason.
