I like the picture and it matches the theme of thanksgiving really well. Poor Jane. Seeing that it took her until now to open up to Kat, it looks like the problems in gaining Kat’s trust were on Jane’s side as well. I wonder why Jane would want to keep it a secret why she killed her own group though.

So Jane’s code consists of 4 programs and she has 4 family members. Maybe there’s one for each of them:
1. The daughter did the graphical design of the dolls
2. A son devised the attack pattern (6 damage for 2 HP, with exponential growth)
3. The other son gave them an ability that’s still unknown, but Jane must’ve planned to invoke his attack for the first time right when they entered the Game, which is why the program crashed. I don’t think she planned to do the same thing she did to Kat, because that attack takes way too much time before it becomes effective.
4. Her husband created the code that tied it all together, i.e. the control unit.

Btw: The next time Danni dance-fights she needs some protective gear around her legs and some retractable Wolverine blades in her shoes. 😀 Unprotected legs are no good against a sickle.

Umm, we’ve been told she has TWO daughters, not just one.

No, we’ve been told she has kids, quantity unspecified beyond the plural. We were also shown Brandon’s imagination of them as mini Jane avatars, and told they didn’t look like that.

I’m thinking of posting a page on the wiki that would make it a little easier to find particular pages like this.

There’s kinda a mixed message here.

Especially for someone like me, I guess.

Simply put, I’m mostly grateful for things I don’t have…especially things I know I won’t have tomorrow.

I have to say, after rereading through the comic so far, I really am impressed with the story and setting.
