Hiatus – Nanea

I'm having computer problems and a part took so long to arrive that I ran out of buffer. So, here's a quick sketch of Nanea instead.

Everything should be back to normal by Friday, though. *crosses fingers*

EDIT#2: Forgot to mention that the paperback version of The Unified God is now out. And I should probably mention that the Kickstarter for Volume 5 will launch in 3-4 weeks.

Image is displaying super-huge in my browser– it looks like a plain white rectangle until I slide the horizontal scroll at the bottom. I don’t know if anyone else is having the problem — I’m on Linux using Firefox, so it could be a side effect of my environment.

On windows firefox. Same issue.

Same on phone/Chrome.

It’s the same for me. I’m using Firefox from Windows right now. I’ll check later if it’s different on MacOS, but most likely not.

Yeah, it doesn’t look like she scaled the image for the page. Hopefully she’ll fix it soon, downloading the image will make it much easier to view.

Same on macOS/Safari so it’s not just you. I wouldn’t have even seen the image if not for your hint@

Same problem with scale on Windows with Opera

right click on it, and select “view image” that works around the problem.

Windows > Firefox here. Looks the same for me.Might need to size the image down a little to make it viewable on the page. 🙂

Here too, except on mobile chrome I am not getting a horizontal scroll, just the gigantic white rectangle.

Hello fellow Linux user 😉 You can right-click the image and select “View Image” to see a scaled version. The image has 2,800 × 3,950 pixels, so it’s going to look pretty huge on most screens without scaling applied.

I get the same problem, and I am on Windows using Internet Exploror, so I think it not just a side effect of your enviroment.

Yes, I have that problem, too. But if you right-click on it you can select “View Image” and then the browser will scale it appropriately.

Seems there’s an issue with the image tag, it has max-width:none; which translates into trying to fit the 3950×2800 image inside the usual image space,leaving only whitespace around. Just removing it shows the image properly.

Same for me in chrome on W10, but right clicking and selecting open image in new tab works

Looks fine.
Either it was fixed before I saw it, or the issue is something else.

Tracking down bugs and glitches can be rather difficult, but the more info you have to work with, the better your odds are.

I’m having the same thing. It looks like it was done full scale and uploaded as the same without any compression or whatever.

It’s nice to see the details in the construction of the art at that scale. It’s a impressive how much of a consistent sense of character youve been able to build for Nanea, even though she’s never had any dialog that I can remember.

She had some dialogue early on before the Game even really began…

Hey IIRC isn’t Unified God go on sale as a paperback today? Is that still a thing or did you change it? I ask because I had assumed you’d mention it’s release in the comments. I’ve been rereading my copies of The Wanted Child and The Servant Lord in anticipation.

I know Unified God was due out on e-book, but not sure if we were told and exact date for the paperback?
I guess I’m waiting for the Kickstarter to get it as an add-on anyway.

To jump on this train, is there any way to get paperbacks of the older books?

I just caught up on a years worth of comics, and I love how much time the author puts into all the different connections between characters and what their motives are. to be honest I’m still a bit put off by the art style, but I can see how much character expressions have improved. good work author! I look forward to the next update.
