I imagine that on the next page A.I. Kat comes out with all Esones equipped, her eyes shining bright red, a Super Saiyan aura around her and with a maniacal grin, saying:
“The VERY good kind!”

Or maybe Bandit says “A daring plan to kill ME” and Dude is like
“You do know that that’s only a relief to me when I’m in-character, right?”

I can read code too and I bet that this is just a std::vector whose size is 100+ with a very rudimentary gray-scale UI for interaction, so nothing suspicious in the code, it’s just unorthodox (and ominous) what they did with it.

Interesting, interesting. And well done picking up the pace. Just don’t burn out. Take a break if you need to. Do a holiday sketch. Have the characters join together and see how many coals they can stuff in my stocking or something.

Daring plan: Ah well the most obvious one would be.. but just in case it is I won’t go there.
It could have been a non-obvious Bandit thing but then again he doesn’t know how many Esones are hidden there -or he pretends that d-d-d-dunn- but no really as portrayed he doesn’t seem to cover his comments -that- well.
Or it could be Saisuke storing up for years in preparation for a really stunning quest that he has wisely neglected to take yet because it’s Really Daring and it’d give Really Good Ratings (and be very impressive) to make it seem effortless. That’d be very much his style.

It’s great to see you getting back on your feet. I wish you well in your efforts and hope that the healing continues. Please take the holidays off to rest and recover a sense of normalcy. I know you probably don’t want to think about it with loved ones missing but it won’t get better if you keep avoiding it. At the very least, you still have your fans to wish you well in your ongoing recovery.

It only works, I think, because of all the work you’ve put into building up the backstory.

So normal as in “not hacked,” but not normal as in “the situation is normal.”
