Ha! So there we were, thinking he’d readily accept the bling but the Princess would vehemently disagree; whereas it seems neither are happy at the King’s proposals.

On the other hand, the Disney Princess franchise seems to the built upon the presumption that the girls’ spouses are never at home – presumably always off having adventures in far-off lands – while one even omits the consequences of a major plot point towards the end of the associated film (namely, a hair cut and colour change!)

But Dude, crown=BLING! And you want your BLING! don’t you? You almost missed the call to adventure for want of BLING!

Wait, is Dude The Great actually about to make a reasonably intelligent choice for himself? Meaning turn down the offer of marrying the princess and becoming king so that he can keep having adventures? That will certainly be a minor surprise (not a major one, as it seems he likes the fame, but not the work involved, just a surprise in that he’s actually thinking about it).

Is it just me that thinks that something like this actually happened to The Dude, or this is somehow related to him? Maybe that’s a short story that The Dude wrote when he was a child. It might even be the reason why the dude has decided to call himself The Dude xD
