That is the nicest, most genuine, smile I’ve seen from Klela thus far. Nice job! It’s very dawww.

Who’d have thought that Danni would have managed to say something so comforting? What she said doesn’t really get rid of the fact that she is likely to turn on Kleya, if she knew the truth. People are like that. They are all “no, I’d never hate you, no matter what you said” but it’s all lies!

I thought the conversation would have had Danni clue in that Klela had hurt someone in the past and was being overly pacifistic to compensate. Maybe even been a hacker of some sort. Maybe she does and is just being comforting in a roundabout way?

to see Poor Kleya after listening to 365 pages make so many enemies and listen to how they wanted her head on a silver platter, its so calming and tearjerking to finally see poor Kleya smile after all this time… and to also know that Danni thinks of her like that even with what happened in the past between the two. If I’m right (I hope I am) this is going to be one of the few times we see someone being nice to her…

I really like how Kleya hunches her shoulders (is this the correct term in English?) in a moment of shock when Danni touches her.
And I like her smile in the last panel. 🙂

And I would sooo much like to hear the “Once Upon a Time and Grimm”-panel! >.<

Hunch is a good term for it. She does look kinda ridged and forcing her shoulders up.

Okay I just got to say that smile is just heartwarming to see on her… Especially since she rarely has a sincere smile

There’s a saying i live by, “The brightest of lights are forged by the darkest of shadows”. in this context, I’m seeing Kleya, who undoubtedly has a penchant towards destruction and chaos. trying to build and nurture anew, and has great ability to do so if she can keep her destructive nature in check.

I read that as “lickable”, then proceeded to do just that. Now my monitor is all messy.

Aww… That last panel is my favourite picture anywhere, any time ever! I really do love Kleya, and her character and history is just so fun!

I don’t think Kleya realizes it, but she just helped Danni too; now Danni doesn’t feel so useless, and Kleya doesn’t feel so evil. Win-win! 😀

I squeed. Out loud. Usually comics don’t make me have involuntary reactions like that but it was so loud my sister came running down the hall from the other side of the house.

Honest… just with a dark, dark secret.

She appears on the verge of happy tears from someone saying she’s likable.

That seems a bit sad to me.

On the other hand, is that the first post-Ending smile for her? (First I remember, anyway…though I haven’t done a re-read of NaV in a while…)

It -is- sad. Someone expressed approval of her and she is acting like she just won a medal. This is something she hasn’t gotten in awhile and maybe thought in some part of herself that she didn’t deserve. It shows how much the circumstances that lead her here have battered her. Such a small thing made a great difference. But then that is what friends are for…making those small gestures that mean the world for those who are receiving them.

I really love all this so far… it’s so touching and wonderful… but I keep wanting to scream because I’m worried that Danni’s going to run out of time! @_@ I don’t want her to be unplugged and for Kleyah to just be standing there with her avatar suddenly empty with no idea what’s going on! She’d blame herself omg ;;_;;

Aw, Kleya gets a wee touch of The Hope. We’ll see how that plays out 🙂

Honestly, I’ve been following this comic for so long (I think along the time when we met Bandit) and I can’t remember the last time we saw her smile a real smile. This was such a touching moment.

I hope you know how much this comic is loved. Maybe it doesn’t have the biggest reader/fanbase, but I really love reading it. The character development is amazing.

Also, that last panel, I would love as a wallpaper or something. It looks awesome artwise and the facial expression is perfect.
